Nancy Huston spent her childhood in Canada, her teenage years in the United States and her adult life in France. She is a dual writer (English and French) and writes in many genres: novels, essays, children’s books and plays. Her novels include L’EMPREINTE DE L’ANGE, DOLCE AGONIA, CANTIQUE DES PLAINES, LA VIREVOLTE, INFRAROUGE and DANSE NOIRE. His novel LIGNES DE FAILLE (Prix Fémina & Prix France-Télévisions 2006) has been translated into some forty languages worldwide. His essays include NORD PERDU, PROFESSEURS DE DÉSESPOIR, L’ESPÈCE FABULATRICE and REFLETS DANS UN ŒIL D’HOMME.
