Aurélie Valat est née en 1977 à Paris, d’une mère grecque et d’un père français.
Une formation en plusieurs étapes, d’abord le théâtre et le jeu, au Cours d’Art Dramatique Jean Périmony, puis le cinéma à NYU-SCPS (certificate in directing 16mm), puis le coaching professionnel à l’Académie du Coaching et enfin un D.U. en Thérapie Narrative à l’Université d’Aix-Marseille.
Une activité professionnelle qui se décline en trois volets : la co-écriture de long-métrages pour le cinéma (Yann Gozlan, Thomas Kruithof, Emma Luchini, Simon Moutaïrou, Eric Valli…), le coaching professionnel (accompagner individuellement adultes et adolescents dans la réalisation de projets) et enfin les ateliers d’écriture en petits groupes (sur une semaine ou au long cours, notamment des séjours « randonnée et écriture » en Crète).
